P2: Semester 2, 2022 Project Announcement

We are excited to announce our second project team for Semester 2, 2022: Spent Convictions.

Our amazing team consists of Maria Ambrose, Hugo Brossard, Claudia Genovese, Hannah Jackson, and Kilkenny Ong (Team Leader).

The Project Team will focus on researching the social impact of criminal records, the value of spent convictions for reintegration efforts such as gaining employment or housing, and developing a tool which is tailored to demographics most in need of support.

This Project involves developing a guide which can support both individuals and pro-bono practitioners alike to navigate the complicated process of applying for a spent conviction.

The project is in partnership with the Gilbert + Tobin, and will be supervised by Marshall McKenna & Jim Power. The team will be closely mentored by April Barton of Gilbert + Tobin Pro Bono Practice.

Keep up to date with our social media or subscribe to our newsletter for regular updates on the progress of the Project.
